By using LensaSim you agree to these terms. They are intentionally short and written to be readable.

What LensaSim is for

LensaSim is an educational and training tool for chemical and process engineering — for learning, coursework, conceptual design and research support. It is not for final commercial engineering design or safety-critical decisions, which require validated tools, measured data and professional review.

Accuracy & no warranty

We work hard on correctness, but results are provided as is, without warranty of any kind. Property data comes from openly licensed sources and standard correlations, and AI-estimated values are clearly labeled — always verify against measured data before relying on any result. You are responsible for checking that outputs are fit for your purpose.

Your account & content

You are responsible for activity under your account and for the content you upload (flowsheets, classroom material). Don't upload anything unlawful, or anything you don't have the right to share. You keep ownership of your work; you grant us only the permission needed to store and display it back to you and the people you share it with.

Acceptable use

Don't attempt to break, overload or abuse the service, resell it without permission, or use it to harm others. We may suspend accounts that do.

Plans & payment

Simulation is free. Paid plans (billed via Stripe) unlock AI assistance, cloud sync and institutional features. You can cancel a subscription at any time; access continues to the end of the paid period.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves; material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.
